FPT ATM Guard - Alarm System for ATMs
Since 2001, FPT IS has provided and installed over 7,000 of the total 12,000 ATMs for various banks in Vietnam. FPT IS also provides warranties and 24/7 maintenance for the ATM systems of almost all the major banks across the country.
With 10 years of extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in providing ATM services, FPT IS engineers have continuously researched solutions to protect ATMs from various types of criminal attacks. One result of this research is the FPT IS alarm system for ATMs, FPT ATM Guard.
This product is a specially designed alarm system for ATMs that detects the forced removal, breaking and entering, and unauthorized welding of ATMs, as well as strong vibrations and movements. It not only detects such actions and immediately sets off an audio alarm, it also sends an alarm via messages or calls to persons in charge so the situation can be dealt with as quickly as possible. FPT ATM Guard also detects electric leakage from ATMs.
Quick, smart and safe:
- The safety sensor system can detect all types of ATM attacks including welding, drilling, moving, and vandalism. The smoke sensor uses SnO2, which is less harmful than the americium 241 used in the majority of sensors on the market.
- The sensing block has built-in output for industrial sensors to allow for easy upgrades of the sensing function as needed.
- The device is capable of detecting electric leakage and warning of danger.
- The main circuit has a slot for messaging or calling, making it easy to upgrade as needed.
- The smart processor can detect intentional and unintentional attacks on the ATM.
- The FPT ATM Guard safety system has two security layers for remote access. Access passwords are up to 16 characters and can be changed easily by pressing the reset button.
Perfected backup and systematic storage:
- With its perfected and strict design for backup, all FPT ATM Guard blocks have their own backup and also support backup for the others. If one block fails, the system can still operate with all its functions.
- The backup battery allows the device to operate for 8-10 hours in case of a power outage; the time period can be extended to 30 hours if necessary.
- Automatic restart after closing the safety box door: if users forget to start the system remotely, FPT ATM Guard will start automatically within 15 minutes (or a selected preset time period) after the door is closed, which makes ATM operation and maintenance more convenient.
- All ATM processes and events are recorded in the log file on the memory card for one year so it is easy to check the ATM's history.
- The system regularly checks the status of devices, displays the results in the LED panel and sends a warning if there is a failure.
Flexibility
- The device is flexibly designed to protect the areas of the ATM most vulnerable to attack.
- Its small size and unobtrusive appearance allows the device to be installed inside any ATM.
- It can be installed separately and externally without having to drill or cut into the ATM.
