The Mekong Development Bank (MDB) and FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) launched the project to "provide the license and implement FPT.iHRP software for MDB" in Ho Chi Minh City on August 17, 2011.
FPT IS will provide the licensing and install the FPT Human Resources Management System (FPT.iHRP) to MDB's specifications. MDB is the ninth bank to use FPT.iHRP, along with Sacombank, Dong A Bank, South Asia Bank and PPF Vietnam Finance, among others.
The web-based FPT.iHRP allows centralized installation and sharing via LAN and WAN networks, which is suitable for most enterprises, especially those with a large number of employees, branches and offices. The software comprises ten functional modules including: performance management; timesheet; salary; insurance policy; assessment and evaluation, as well as training; recruitment; system administration; website portal and a reporting system.
FPT.iHRP can be implemented two to three times faster than other management software at a more affordable cost.
The MDB has seven branches, 20 savings funds, and 12 trading offices in six provinces/cities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Kien Giang, Can Tho, and Dong Thap, and employs more than 800 experienced staff. It considers developing human resources as one of the key factors to success in the marketplace.
At the launching ceremony, CEO of MDB Lau Boon Tuan said: "Building an effective human resources management system is one target in MDB's five-year plan. After reviewing all the options, we chose FPT IS to install their human resources management software - FPT.iHRP.
