August 2, 2011- Salesforce, the first company in the world to introduce "Software as a Service" (SaaS), announced today it is offering a promotion on its global Salesforce CRM solution for only US$2.

Beginning on October 31, the "Contact Manager" version of the service will be discounted from US$5 to US$2 per user and the "Group" version from US$25 to US$15, a monthly savings of 60% and 40% per user, respectively. These are the two most popular versions of the four Salesforce CRM packages; the others are the "Professional" (US$65/user/month) and "Enterprise" (US$125/ user/month).

Salesforce is also offering clients a seven day free trial for Contact Manager and 14 free days for Group to introduce clients to the advantages of the cloud computing platform. Customers only buy the product after they have experienced its benefits and efficiency.

  • Keep track of sent email: records when it was received and when it was opened.

  • Integrate with Google Adwords: utilize Google's advertizing service through key words.

  • Assess, categorize and assign staff to each customer to ensure no potential client is overlooked.

  • Connect and share customer information with partners in the Salesforce network.

  • Create eye-catching samples on the company's website to attract potential customers and automatically send customer feedback to the Salesforce system.
