Successfully implementing FPT.eHospital for Ho Chi Minh City Turmo and Cancer Hospital
In this project, fourteen modules of the software were implemented for the Hospital including Examination, Treatment, Administration, HR management, billing and pharmacy. The system has helped the hospital to computerize all the health care processes involving patient receiption, examination, medicine prescription, and billing thus reducing overload.
Thanks to reduction of unecessary and manual procedure, both doctors and patients can save time checking health and treatment. With comprehensive database and easy look-up, the system also enables doctors to keep track of treatment progress while facilitating patients from reception, examination, treatment to payment.
During the implementation process, the project team scoped with difficulties such as large number of patients, complicated professional procedure and technology and specific medicine list. "As the hospital used to operate and manage the works mannually with overlapped procedure, the project team had to make great effort to cooperate with them in creating and optimizing management procedure" said Nguyen Huu Hoa-project manager.
However, the project has been implemented successfully and right on schedule, affirming FPT IS' capability and experience in deloying management system for large hospitals.
