Omron (Japan) visits FPT IS

On October 19, 2010, Japan-based Omron Software Kaisha (OSK), headed by Chairman Hosoi Toshio, visited FPT IS in Hanoi, FPT IS Chairman Do Cao Bao and other experts welcomed the delegation.
During the working session, OSK explained that their visit was to learn about IT outsourcing in Vietnam and seek opportunities for co-operation with Vietnamese ICT providers. The two sides also discussed possibilities for co-operation in the near future.
On the same day, OSK visited TELEHOUSE Vietnam International - the joint venture between FPT IS and two Japanese corporations, KDDI and ITX.
OSK is a member of the Omron Group specializing in ATMs, ticket bending machines, station gate machines, and RFID solutions including hardware, software, and distribution systems. Omron is a major provider of public infrastructure including railway station, ATMs, POS, and vending machines.
