FPT IS won four contracts worth a total of VND 50.2 billion on March 31 and April 1, 2011.
The first contract, valued at VND 4.61 billion, is for "establishing a tax bill and form management application in line with Government Decree 51/2010/NĐ-CP," and will be implemented within nine months. The second contract is for "maintaining and supporting system software related to the taxation application" and will be implemented within 45 days; it is worth VND 13.1 billion.
The third contract is for "providing copyrighted system software, and upgrading and implementing application software to enable the second stage of the contract for "modernizing tax collection and payment procedures at the Taxation Department, the State Treasury, and the Customs and Finance Departments." The contract is worth VND 25.5 billion and will be implemented within 12 months.
The final contract is for "hiring application support services for the Taxation Department," valued at nearly VND 7 billion, and will be implemented within 12 months.
