FPT IS presents solutions at Microsoft Tech Day 2012

FPT IS IT Infrastructure Center expert Le Viet Thanh gave a presentation on “Virtualization Infrastructure Management with the VMM System Center 2012” for the annual global Microsoft Technology Day 2012 at the Sofitel Plaza Hotel in Hanoi on March 14.
Le Viet Thanh's presentation was part of the “core infrastructure applications block and genuine Microsoft services” workshop at the event. Microsoft promoted the VMM System Center 2012 along with other solutions such as the Customer Immersion Experience (CIE), Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, and Microsoft Services (SaaS) as solutions for “improving the capability of enterprises through comprehensive IT solutions”...

System Center is an effective solution for managing server resources in enterprises' public and private cloud environments. The VMM System Center 2012 is a new set of upgrades from VMM System Center 2008 about to be released by Microsoft that includes SCVMM, SCOM, SCCM, SCSM, and SCDPM, as well as App controller, and Endpoint protection.
FPT IS has implemented the virtualization solution using Hyper-V and System Center VMM 2008 for several clients including the Ministry of Finance, Maritime Bank, and Petrolimex, which has been highly appreciated for its efficiency as compared to other products. Previous versions of the system have been successfully deployed for clients such as the General Department of Taxation, Vietcombank, and VMS Mobile. A number of FPT IS customers have already expressed interest in coordinating with FPT IS to test private cloud solutions utilizing the new Microsoft solution.
FPT IS also participated in the same event in Ho Chi Minh City on March 16.
